At Culinary Collector, we believe that cooking is more than just nourishment—it is a ritual, an act of creativity, and a way to document life’s flavors and memories. Our culinary journals serve as personal ateliers, spaces where cooks of all levels can experiment, collect, and refine their ideas. The kitchen is the alchemist’s lab, a place of transformation, while the table is the stage where stories unfold. Our mission is to provide a tangible tool for culinary explorers to capture their inspiration, embrace fusion, and bring their creations to life—on the page, in the kitchen, and at the table.

Founded by Renato Osoy, a Guatemalan-born visual artist and Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef, Culinary Collector Journals are the product of a lifelong passion for collecting meals as mementos and celebrating food, cultural exploration, and creativity as essential ingredients for a fulfilling life.

Renato studied cuisine in Barcelona, specializing in Mediterranean gastronomy, and worked in restaurants across Europe, North America, and Central America. His experience as a chef, restaurant manager, and traveler led him to develop a deep respect for tradition and innovation, seeing them as two sides of the same creative journey.

As a visual artist and a chef, he sees cooking as a creative conversation: the kitchen as a space for transformation and the table as the stage for storytelling. He brings these perspectives together with the Culinary Collector Journals, offering a tangible, inspiring space for cooks to document their journey—one page, one experiment, one dish at a time.
